Tokenomics explained
Paralink provides an open source and decentralized oracle platform for Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Polkadot, Plasm and other popular blockchains.
Private Sale
The private sale tokens are being issued as per release schedule of the respective round.
Seed Sale: 20% released at TGE, remaining is spread over 4 quarters
Strategic Sale: 25% released at TGE, remaining is spread over 4 quarters
Private Sale: 30% released at TGE, remaining is spread over 4 quarters
Ecosystem, Network and Governance Rewards
These tokens are for early stage subsidies and incentives. We plan to support the projects integrating with Paralink Network, as well as the relayers that are powering the decentralized oracle service. And lastly, the tokens will be issued in a form of staking rewards to PARA holders who decide to participate in on-chain relayer governance process.
Reserve
Reserve tokens may be issued for strategic reasons, such as partnerships, exchange integrations and liquidity bootstrapping. As the name implies, reserve tokens act as a buffer and may not need to be issued in full capacity.
Team
The team tokens have a 2 year vesting period with 6 months vesting cliff.
PARA Token Summary.
Paralink Token (PARA) is an incentive token used for on-chain coordination and governance.
PARA token is used to pay for gas costs of the callbacks onto 3rd party blockchains. The latest suggested gas price is available through the Paralink Gas Oracle.
Adding PARA as a fee to a data request transaction is also an incentive mechanism for a particular quorum to prioritize the query.
Relayer quorums are self-organizing groups of Paralink Node operators, whose job is to service the data requests. A quorum can be created by anyone, and its ownership rights are granted based on the amount of Paralink Tokens staked into the newly created quorum contract. The ownership is represented with QT's (quorum tokens), which are backward convertible into Paralink Tokens on quorum dissolution.
The quorum is therefore governed by QT holders, which are also responsible for maintaining a top list of trusted relayer members. All the revenue generated (in PARA) by the quorum is split between QT holders and relayers, as per the rules defined at quorum creation.
